kathleen was a British computer scientist and mathematician she would get her bachelor’s degree in Maths from the University of London and in 1950 she earned her PhD in Applied Mathematics.

Academic Achievements

Kathleen was a british computing pioneer that would end up creating many revoltional things like: the first assembly language, designing the assembler and autocode for the first computer systems .she was also know for doing many other important things like being the author of 2 of the earliest books on computer design and programming, she would join the army for a few years after she would join a all woman math team tht analysing the X-ray crystallography which contributed to the discovery of the double helix shape of DNA
