Marc would be born on October 13 1956, in Chicago, IL. He would be a smart kid. While growing up, he would be so smart that, while attending the Illinois Institute of Technology, he'd get a scholarship from AT&T's Bell Laboratories. Hannah also received his B.S. degree in electrical engineering in 1977 before going on to Stanford University where he obtained his M.S. degree in 1978.

Marc was a co-founder of Silicon Graphics Inc (SGI) and would build up the company for 16 years and turn it into a global pioneer in computer graphics, that would supply many hardware and software items to the market.
